I have a bucket load of resources which I use on a daily basis for making and saving money. So I wanted to dedicate an entire page to them all so they are easily accessible for you! I find all of these resources so valuable, and I hope they will help you as much as they help me. I have only included resources below which I have personally used!!
Note: Some of the links below are affiliate links, so I may get a small commission if you choose to use these companies through my link, which will be at no extra cost to you.
Table of Contents
Banks
Monzo is perfect for millennials! This bank is entirely online so an account can be opened within minutes. Some cool benefits include receiving notifications when you receive money and having the ability to manage multiple ‘pots’ within one account (perfect for sinking funds).
Natwest offers a rewards account which you can open up here. It works exactly like a normal current account only you can gain rewards (funny that) on purchases. You pay a £2 monthly fee, but you can easily earn this back. How? All you need to have is two direct debits set up on the account and you will receive £2 back for each (so £4). You can also receive £1 per month just for logging into the online app once per month! So that’s £5 (£3 profit) before you’ve even started…
Cashback
TopCashback is my favourite Cashback app and I have earned over £2,000 on purchases through this app alone. You can read my blog post on Cashback here.
Super is also a fabulous Cashback app and the best thing about it? You get next day Cashback when shop via a retailer on their app.
Shopmium and GreenJinn are apps where you can get money off groceries and even freebies on occasion. All you need to do is search the app prior to doing your food shop, check out what deals are available and purchase them in store. Hang onto the receipt and scan this to the app, you then receive the money back. Simples.
Cheddar and LoyalBe are apps which gives you Cashback, just by shopping normally. Link up your card and spend online or in-store to earn.
Energy
I love switching energy providers and getting the best deals. In conjunction with TopCashback deals you can really save a lot of money. I am currently with Octopus Energy – they run an incentive where every time you submit a meter reading you are entered into a prize draw to win money off, how fab. You can receive £50 for signing up through this link.
Surveys
Prolific, imo, is one of the best survey sites I have come across. Payment is super quick and reasonable (although they’re difficult to answer on a mobile so would recommend using a desktop). You spend quite a lot of time setting up your profile but this is so the surveys which are available to you are suited and for this reason you’re unlikely to be rejected.
Attapoll is also an app I use on occasion as they always have surveys on there. They are really quick to complete and so the earnings are lower than Prolific, but still a great thing to pick up as and when. You can receive a free 40p for using code tqlxj – not too shabby.
Shopping / Food
Amazon hands down (for me) is one of the best shopping apps around. Anything you need – they have it.
Deliveroo and I are practically bezzies. Sign up via this link and receive £10 off of your next 4 orders! (Minimum order value of £20 to be eligible).
UberEats – another fave. Sign up via this link and receive £10 off your next order. (Minimum order value of £15 to be eligible).
Costa – when on my travels I always stop off at a service station to grab a coffee, the app is perfect for on the go and you can collect points towards free drinks! Follow this link for a bonus 200 points.
Budget Jones’s Diary Resources
And by no means least 😉 Budget Jones’s Diary! Don’t forget, I have a plentiful amount of resources over on my Etsy shop which will guide you on your financial journey.
I hope you have found this page useful and can get some value out of them. If you have any questions please feel free to email me, my details are over on the Contact Me page.
